Cut some weed on a folder that is to come on a flight, how do i clean it off?

Well I'm travelling across the border and not thinking i grabbed a folder to cut a lil weed on and relaized after the fact that it is the folder that contains pports, id, travel iten.....will washing the outside casing rid the scent for K9 detection and would the scent have tainted the doents that are inside the folder????
