Private Investigators... Can anyone help me?
I am a private investigator who owns and operates my business in Indiana. Doing this kind of work is a lot of fun, but it can be boring at times. I do a lot of paper service for attorneys, individuals and businesses. I also do post-arrest work for attorneys and civil work like divorces and child custody. I make $50.00 an hour and that is pretty cheap, really. If you can find someone in your area or city that you can call and maybe job shadow with that would probably help you. I have a website you can look at bobsinvestigations.com It is pretty easy to get an investigator's license here, but a lot harder to get licensed as a company like I am. Most of your licensing is done through something like the state's attorney general. Some states don't require licenses. You would have to check your state. You could always get involved with a company and do minor work while learning AND going to medical school. That way you will always have something to fall back on. Dale
