I am a 21-year old female looking for possible careers. I recently went into a fire station in my county and decided I would check into what it takes (requires) to become a firefighter, since I thought it looked interesting. I have a high school diploma and only misdemeanors on my record. Please tell me what It requires to join the "fire squad". Preferably real firemen/women answers. Thank you!
